UK exporters of alcoholic beverages to Colombia had to provide Good Manufacturing Practice Certificates. The UK does not certify in the same way and providing such a certificate would not have been possible. The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) discussed with Colombian authorities and came to an agreement on alternative documents that can be provided instead by UK producers.
