The approval timescales for drug registrations and licensing have significantly improved in Thailand. This is as a result of the UK government’s continued engagement with Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The FDA has now adopted a reliance model that takes into account reviews from credible regulatory authorities of other countries, resulting in a faster review process.
