The UK’s Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Ecuadorean authorities have agreed an export health certificate (EHC) for bovine genetic material. Discussions were held with the Ecuadorian government to agree requirements and the exchange of information needed for UK businesses to export bovine genetic material.

This EHC is now available to eligible UK businesses.
