Continuation of deer skin exports to China

In July 2025, General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) introduced new quarantine requirements for the export of deer skin products. This necessitated a new export health certificate (EHC) to ensure continuity in the export of UK’s deer skin products to China.
A new EHC was drafted and agreed with China on 26 September 2025, with the new EHC available to exporters from 17 October 2025.
