Belgium is now allowing imports of certain fish baits
in BelgiumTrade barrier summary
Belgium’s government has designed an import authorisation process that applies to certain fish baits from outside the EU that contain animal products (referred to as products of animal origin).
An export health certificate (EHC) signed by a vet is usually required to import goods that contain animal products. The new import authorisation process allows for multiple EHCs to be submitted to cover certain fish baits containing animal products.
This change allows UK suppliers to export these fish baits to Belgium.
