Following activities funded by the UK government's Ricardo Fund, the Vietnam government now has a dedicated Vietnam International Financial Centre (VIFC) Court applying English Common Law. This provides greater contractual freedom and flexibility in structuring transactions, dispute-resolution mechanisms with high predictability in line with international standards, application of international financial standards and an innovation-friendly legal system that will benefit UK businesses.
