Stringent alcohol labelling requirements in South Korea affecting UK exporters

in South Korea

Trade barrier summary

The South Korean Ministry of Health requires warning labels on containers of imported UK alcoholic drinks. The legislation came into effect in 2016, with a year given to sell old stock. This created extra costs for exporters who had relatively little time to sell existing supplies and prepare and apply new labelling.
