Export of UK meat-based pet food is not permitted. The UK is in the process of applying to secure access. In addition, restrictions for meat ingredients in pet food such as lamb and poultry meat (imposed because of Scrapie and Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza respectively) need to be lifted before access can be permitted.
