Delays in clearance of goods from Nairobi to other Kenyan cities

in Kenya

Trade barrier summary

The UK has funded technical assistance programmes to the Kenyan customs organisation, which as of April 2022, has resulted in clearance times being significantly reduced in Kenya. UK companies can now more easily and quickly export and transfer goods within Kenya. The time reduction was jointly contributed by UK support collaboratively working with other stakeholders including the private sector in systems enhancement.
