On 4 December 2025, the National Hydrocarbons Agency published the final version of the bidding terms and conditions that will govern the first round of the competitive process for the allocation of temporary occupancy permits for offshore wind in Colombia. With the publication of the bidding documents, the first round of the competitive process officially opened on 24 December 2025. UK businesses will now have the opportunity to submit technical offers for the development of wind energy projects in Colombia.
