Regulatory compliance implemented by the Central Insecticides Board (CIB) in India, for UK biocides exporters apply to use in pesticides for agriculture and for use as preservatives in paints and adhesives.

In June 2018, registration guidelines for these products were published after consultation. The regulations are currently being updated, and would take around a year to implement thereafter. In the interim, standard import permits continue to be granted.
