The inspection of production line quality assurance systems and product testing in Thailand can only be carried out by the Thailand Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) or by accredited third-party inspection and certification bodies registered in Thailand.

In the automotive sector, additional tests in Thai laboratories are required for vehicles and parts. These tests are required even when products meet the standards of the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) 1958 Agreement and the testing method is out of date.
