France has simplified its requirements for seasonal workers in the travel industry
in FranceTrade barrier summary
UK nationals who go to France to do seasonal work in the tourism, travel and ski sectors need both a work permit and a work visa to do this, which requires a number of administrative steps. The French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) together with the industry organisation Seasonal Businesses in Travel (SBiT) have now made it easier to obtain these documents. The OFII has waived the requirement for an in-person medical visit and SBiT has arranged for batches of virtual medical appointments to be booked online with UK doctors. This removes the need for each individual worker to arrange for their own doctor’s appointment.
