This affects UK food and pharmaceutical exports to Morocco. Imported food labelling requirements are defined by decree No 2-12-289 which was adopted to implement Law No. 28-07 on food safety.

Similar requirements apply for pharmaceuticals. Decree No. 2-10-473, implementing certain provisions of Law No. 28-07, specifies that the authorisation reference number from the relevant organisation needs to be mentioned in documentation, product advertising and on packaging.
