The trade barrier was resolved to change the current regulations - RDC 62/2008 - restricting the maximum and minimum number of condoms per package which benefitted UK exporters selling the product in market in Argentina. This was a Mercosur-wide issue. Mercosur is a South American regional economic organisation with Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela as members.
