The Argentinean government previously charged a 35% tariff on whisky exported to the market, where the container is under two litres. This was in comparison to all other liquor exports to the market, which are at 20%. The Argentinean government have now agreed to reduce the tariff for whisky exported to the market, to 20%, benefiting UK Scotch whisky exporters.
