Additional licensing requirements for alcohol exports to Belarus

in Belarus

Trade barrier summary

Overseas businesses face several requirements when exporting alcohol to Belarus. Overseas businesses planning to export alcohol, have to apply annually for additional permission, issued by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) and need to submit a list of planned exports. The list needs to include brands, product names and planned import volumes with relevant Harmonised System (HS) codes. Once the overseas business is granted authorisation, it can only export alcohol from the list - it cannot deviate from this.
